Years ago, my son was at the local primary...I was about thirty at the time. He was coming home with three lines written in a book...sum total of the days work.
So I booked a meeting with the teacher I was not a happy bunnie, even more so swmbo
I went stonking off to the school, full of venom, went in the classroom and.....................tongue hit the floor, gasping for breath, other bits thinking should I react or not    There stood this gorgeous young teacher, and I mean gorgeous........wind totally gone from my sails, prepared speech lost in dreamland, god knows what I muttered on about as she gave me all this patter about whether I was happy at school in my day, and how things changed nowadays. Went home in a daze, with the missus giving me earache too.
Still remember her name.. if only
