not been on for a while  been to new zealand for 2 weeks and florida for 2 weeks looking at houses and  looking at job prospects and it looks like i will be emigrating early next year  mrs and kids want florida personally i dont give a toss where  going back to florida in a couple of weeks to have a second viewing of a house and if all goes well will buy it whilst out there  already sold my house i was renting out and the one im living in will be up for sale soon   cant wait to leave this once was great country that is slowly becoming a shithole ;D

my daughter is not coming shes 19 and for the moment is staying put running my business but my 15 year old son cant wait  might be the fact that the new house will have a swimming pool ;D

Not quite as easy as you think - I agree with Millwall in many respects but have parents and MIL in 80s and 90s, grandson, 2 weddings coming up in 2011 - difficult choices when responsibilities kick in - my kids are 31 and 33 - independent more or less - could I leave? - doubtful at present.

Go for it if you can.

SWMBO was offered a job running a hospital department in both Australia and New Zealand 5 years ago. I didn't even need to get a job :o After much thought she decided she couldn't leave her family so we're still here ::) :'(

Never mind, just have to make the best of it ;D

I think if I had the qualifications and experience I have now, and the health that I had, 20 years ago I would have been off, my niece has returned to Australia, has a good job and loving it, good luck to her...... :y :y

The UK is in a bit of a 2&8 at the moment, mostly down to each government blaming the last for eachothers break ups resulting in a lack of industry etc. That said as lovely as other places are i could'nt live anywhere else.

  Cold & wet as it is i know i'd get homesick very quickly. It might well be shite but it's where i belong. Best of luck though & stay in touch. That's what the web's for! :y

Good luck, as soon as I've sold my house I'm off as well to join my wife and daughter in the Ukraine. :y

I aim to visit the UK about every 3 months to see my family.  :y

could not agree with you more as it goes bigballs if things were more in order with house and money etc me and wifey would be looking at newzealand will be a few years for us yet
