Not sure about the theory of one rule for "them" and one for us" ... but it does really get my goat that "racism" only goes one way. Each to their own, live the life they want & all that, but when do you ever hear of a white guy shouting the "racism" card. If if he / she did, would it be credible?

Incidents such as this one inflame tensions. You cannot enforce tolerance by decree; indeed, if you try, you'll likely have the opposite effect. Telling someone that they cannot say something does not stop them thinking it - in fact they are more likely to think it. I, too, see trouble ahead sadly.

In certain countries, if a female non-muslim wishes to enter a religious site, they must wear a head scarf and have their ankles covered etc. So basically, if she wants to enter, as a mark of respect she covers up.
Well, this is our country and our culture, so if you want to come in, show some respect and take off the ninja suit !!!

I, too, see trouble ahead sadly.

Initially we were always told that it was the known "subversives" and law breakers that were looking to to cause conflict by questioning how things are run and that the law abiding had no worries, but now even the law abiding are copping the backlash for having the audacity to "speak out of turn".

I agree that if something doesn't change soon then it's definately going to kick off as it did with the poll tax riots many years ago, and as per usual we'll end up shafted with the bill and the blame for it

I've never been religious but i'm thinking of becoming a Muslim, that way i'll be able to do things, have a say in things and have more rights in a country generations of my family have lived in, fought for, worked for and payed taxes in

Being a white British person makes you a second rate citizen that should shut up and put up in my opinion

I have always been of the opinion that no matter how odius I consider someone's views, they have the right to that opinion regardless of whether I agree or not so long as they are prepared to hear my side.
These days however my attitude is if they aren't prepared to accept that others will have different views then they know where the door is and they can f**k right off.

seeing as it's not a religious necesscity to wear that getup as there is no mention in the koran,it's just to pander to the insecurites of the males who don't want anybody casting eye's on there wife's they should be made to remove in airport security...i'll try going on holiday in my crash helmet see how far that works

I've felt for at least the last 10 years, that as a white, heterosexual, middle aged British male, that the only right I have left is to pay taxes and boy have they piled those on in the last 10 years. 

Freedom of speech has long gone from this country, having views on multi-culturalism, your a racist, views on same sex relationship, your homphobic, views on certain religions, a religious bigot. Just keep paying those taxes, so the Nazi thought squad authorities can keep affording to investigate, prosecute and lock you up for having any so un-PC thoughts. 

Lucky USA, freedom of speech is enshrined in their constitution. 

Personally, I think this loss of freedom is making us much less tolerant as a society, the reverse of what the thought Nazis are supposedly trying to achieve.

I can't wait to leave this province of the EUSSR 4th Riech.
