Early start and changed a heater valve on a 2006 Ford Ka.

I wasn't expecting it to get under my skin but it's fantastic. Nice to work on and it drives very sweetly. Only 22k miles in 16 years. I don't want to give it back...

I was surprised too! Garaged all its life and no rust I could see. I didn't go underneath though, just in case...

Filler cap is the usual area where it starts, Ford even created a special repair panel.

Trouble is its usually the tip of the iceburg

Well it seems that my old Beemer who was enjoying a gentle retirement in Torquay may be no more, as the old girls MOT wasn't renewed last May.   :(

Unless the owner expired before the MOT did...  :-X

Had a couple of productive days this week with guru Addy.

Mine now has a gearbox and engine where there was once a gaping chasm. And we have started stripping his exhaust and a few other bits from his.More importantly, there has been coffee and cake.

The rear wiper on the V70 has not been returning to base when I switch it off and parks itself in the middle of the screen.

So this afternoon I removed the motor, opened up the casing and lots of water poured out. Cleaned it all up, greased it and reassembled.

No difference.  >:(                                                          FFS!  ;D
