You need the pairing code used to pair the NCDC, CDC3, Telematics (if applicable) and CID.  If it was factory fitted, and unmolested, this will be on the car's carpass.  However, I doubt it was factory fitted - but can check from registration.

If you don't have pairing code, then, assuming it was all properly paired beforehand, I can decode it, and then pair in new CID.

NCDC 2013 + CID + NAVI are factory fitted

So pairing code is not same as display code ?
Pairing code is in Car pass ? ( my pass is lost )
So I have to order naw pass ?

so where these display codes are needed

http://www.opel-infos.de/downloads/omega_b_display.pdf

And where instrument code is needed ( you can select kmh/mph )
but why tires are involved in both codes ??

Code Index (programming config) has absolutely nothing to do with security pairing codes.

If the NCDC is factory fitted, and hasn't been changed/swapped/buggered about with, the pairing code is the immobiliser PIN, which is on the carpass if you do not know it.

OK  :y

My pass is lost so I order new tomorrow....

So after pairing display-codes are needed for right speed and fuel consumption ?

The code index (there is no such thing as display-codes) needs to be correct for your car, engine, gearbox, HIDs, preheater etc, or will report false info.

My Omega was in tech programming today.
They managed to program fuel consuption etc and bose display. But cid is still displaying display safe they said that they cant programm it away and shoud take hours to examine the fault and the old  cid should had unpaired first.

The old cid was totally broken so there was no chance to unpair it and the new cid is brand new ie. Never programmed.

Seems that they dont really know how to pair the new cid , as they said thay have never done it and the Service is one of the biggest here ?

Can someone tell the right procedure and tech paths so i can give them the right instructions.

Thanks

Vx should not have any troubles programming in a NEW CID, its only the unpaired ones that they should struggle with.

However, I can probably still retrieve and transfer the data from the broken CID to the New CID if both of them are sent to me

Give me a yell for more info if needed

Thanks Dave but
I don' have the old cid anymore  :(

I agree that programming should be easy with new cid
Problem is that even they have tech they don't know
how to use it and this problem is not profitable for them.

Is it possible to get the system into safe mode with tech 2 if a component(CID) is missing?

even if the code is present?

Judging by your IP, you are not local to me ;D

If the new CID is in delivery mode, and:

NCDC2013 and CD Changer

or

NCDC2015 and CD Changer and Telematics

were all correctly paired with each other, and to the old, broken CID (and the pairing code is known!!), this is a fairly trivial task that any dealer should be able to do.

If the above conditions are not met, you are in a whole world of pain :(

If this is a genuine franchised Vx main dealer, then a call to the national Vx customer service is called for and ask them to explain why they are not training the franchised dealers, and why the franchised dealership do not find in financially viable to assist you.

Only in this case, it would likely be an Opel dealership ;D

For the record, any "Franchised" dealership will often get a monumentous rollicking if they are reported to the National / Main Customer service department for failing to assist a customer in this way.

Glad to hear you have made some progress, keep us all informed how you get on.

I got the call from GM today but not much progress , they said that they don't give any information for Dealers and
it is Dealers duty to ask the information from Germany if they don't know how to do it.
So dealer is now asked to get the right information and then they call me back and then they try programm it again

But seems thet they belive more dealers words than mine :  :'(

Service report was :

"Display safe" sill in display. We can't connet to radio. Radio and display are communicating and likely old dislplay must have reset from radio before changing new and only then radio allows new display to work. We can investigate this problem but it will take more time. First we should find out why we can't connect to the rado.

Is this bullshit, or can radio really be not connectable ?? anyway they managed to programm Bose and consumpiton ?
