Washing a car, is like making love to a beautiful woman.  caress the bodywork. Breathe softly and gently. And give every inch of it your loving attention. And make sure you've got a nice wet sponge.

Neither the Senator or the Carlton 24v's were ever limited, well actually they are only limited by the rev limiter (6600rpm or 6996rpm dependent on chipping). I have had more than one over 150 and my favorite...

Been a while but, yup, thats the bugger!!  ;D

Note - off the clock from the 162 (hence 164, roughly...) and 500 revs to go.

Thanks for that, brought back a memory or three....   :y

this is an unfair question for me. For most of my working life I've been involved in the design and testing of cars. I shouldn't really say what the fastest I've been on the public road is, but suffice it to say, it doesn't begin with a "1"  :y

and Germany before anyone asks.

You reminded me of the clocks in my old 300ZX - 300kph aftermarket clocks converted to MPH with a box and a sticker.. bloke in the tyre place actually asked me if it really did 300mph  ::) ::)

Mazda MX-7 Turbo version mid 1980's Wankel, I stopped looking at 135 mph in order to concentrate on not wetting myself.
