checked for anything blocking the runner, nothing there,the motor seems to do every other postion but stops 3-4 inch from going forward, the motor clicks when its gone as far forward as it can ??
i think i might need to wear me dads 70s platforms lol ;D

my drivers seat wont go forward enough, the motors go in all postions ie up down ect bot not forward enough for us to reach  :-?

i cant see a little spanish waiter helping things much ;D, but seriously if you prefer auto fit an AR35 & a chip it makes the car far better, :y

i have an auto 2.5 td est which i find heavy on fuel getting around 25 in town and 30 on a run,also seems very underpowered nightmare on motor ways hunting up and down the box getting no where
im sure i read a post about swapping the auto for a manuel
will this improve mpg and performance

i have just read your post did you get it sorted i have the same model mine is a 1996 2.5td auto estate its done 180k great car just a little slow accelarating econmy is mid 20s round town 28 on a run
have you looked at chipping ?

any body got any idea what sort of mpg id expect from a 2.5td auto estate 1996
also its a wee bit windy unless you realy boot it any ideas as to mods to inprove mpg/bhp

Hi all
Just got home with my new (to me) elite 2,5td auto estate
We bought to replace a bmw 118d m sport which may seem an odd choice but I need a big diesel auto estate ideal for our job joinery/house renovation work the BM is a rock hard ride and generally to focused for town driving
Having browsed the forum it looks like there is nothing you guys don’t know spares look plenty full to

 :)
