Put 76l of lorry juice in it.

How much does it hold, as the handbook is just 'dangle berries':

Usable capacity: 77l
Capacity down to empty on guage: 68l
Reserve capacity once on empty: 4l

Now I know I'm just the stupid kid from the local comprehensive, and my maths is rudimentary, but I can't make those figures add up.

Its easy...do the sums and your left with 5l still in the tank....which is probably enough left if you park on a slope and the fuel ends up the wrong end of the tank to the pickup pipe for the pickup pipe still to be submerged, if you see what I mean.....

The gauge on my Mondeo....is very prone to slopes and probably the pick up pipe as well....the camber on my road is quite great....park outside my house and in the morning the gauge can read empty....park on opposite side where the camber goes the other way, in the morning gauge can read 1/4 full
Not sure I follow, as the sums don't add up.

I should add, the book goes on, once reserved is used, it will go into limp for 1.6km, after which time it will cut the engine.

So usable capacity should up to that point?

Just wait till it reads, say, 1/8 tank and put some fickin petrol in it.

So as I suspected its still got fuel left....so as I reckon reading between the lines...if the engine dies, you just need to chuck more fuel in and it will go again...without the need to bleed it...as its still got fuel in there...bleeding a diesel can be a pita!

No.
But I no longer do recovery of any vehicles; people are still stupid enough to fill up with the wrong fuel.

It's a shame when someone buys a nice expensive quality car and then can't afford to run it.......  :(                                             ;D ;D ;D

I do suffer quite badly with CBA when it comes to refuelling ;D

Mind you, the retards at Brakkers BP want 124.9p for standard lorry juice. Tesco in Bletchley was 112.9p, and Asda/Morrisons cheaper still, but CBA to swing by them.

Wish Costco around these parts would do it.  :(

It's no issue getting to either near me.

Petrol vehicles seem to run on whatever you put in them, but I wouldn't put Asda diesel in the wife's captur, never mind a jaaaaaag.

Fitted new Abs sensor to osr wheel, reset the codes, and drove to work...

Didn't get to the end of the road before all three lights pinged on >:(

Two codes... 95 on the gearbox ecu and 05 on the Abs one...

Next step is looking like the ecu :-\

Not around these parts I'm afraid.

I bet you don't get the 2% back against exec membership either....
