Non smoker, BTW. Had my one and only cigarette when I was about 5 or 6.  Might have had the odd pie however.  ::)  :y

 ;)
Actually, if I'm honest, I'm not a big pie man. Now a nice pasty...  ...esp a medium steak one from Philps in Cornwall...  ...but I do have to stop to eat, as I can get a bit messy ;D

Now you're talking,had one last weekend ;) :y :y
Right, henryd, its official, I bloody hate you ;D

I'm dribbling thinking about it

Must admit despite trying I still do smoke[filthy habit I know]always did when my kids were growing up as did their mother.Fortunately they're grown up now so very rarely if ever have kids in car now.Must say that all this anti-smoking stuff[plus other things]on grounds of human rights is all very well but that means doing away with my human rights to be able to smoke.I will however should the need arise comply with the law,as opposed to ignore it and risk getting caught.

What is the use of that as a law....my ex wife smokes like a trooper and her 14 plate car smells..stinks...reeks of stale smoke....she picks up our grand child from school and does not smoke while he is in there with her...thats great...but for gods sake his lungs will get damaged with the stale smoke in the upholstery and in the air in the car....so whats the point of that law then. >:(

Well this went slightly off topic methinks...

Anyhoo, I think the law has been brought in to protect youngsters from the passive smoking that can cause lung cancer... I have become anti smoking since stopping smoking, but Im also anti using your phone whilst driving too and the amount of times I see people driving whilst using their phones, I wish I was a copper as Id have 'em...

And can we have less bashing about us Radio Hams please :) 73's for now....

Daft laws bought in by pressure groups. So what happens when someone is driving with the hood or hardtop down  ::)  Too many laws turn innocents into criminals. (just found that quote on the net. yer I like that one)

Nowt wrong with a Ginsters Cornish Pasty.  Made in Cornwall, with local produce!  :-\

Needs to be heated in the Oven, not a Microwave!!!!!  Pastry is good, veg is good.... nice bit of meat and nicely seasoned.

Don't know why people slate Ginsters Pasty's so much????   :-\ :-\ :-\

Love the taste of em, just a far too high a frequency of 'bouncy' bits of 'meat' :(
