does anyone know the VX part number for the facelift or know where I could buy one new or a working used one ?

Read the guides you have been given, part numbers are in there.
I did... Part numbers for non FL if I've read correctly.

"Solenoid Part Numbers: Pre mini-facelift: 90449074
Post mini-facelift: 90493702"
Last time I checked, FL came after MFL, thus is post MFL...
Ah just got a little confused there, has anyone bought one recently and how much was it roughly (without TC) and how long on avarage does it take to do if all goes smoothly...

Take your Vasaline with you ;D

Approx £65 + VAT from Andy C if I remember correctly, breakers on here sell them for approx £20.

It's quite a fiddly job if you haven't done it before but 30 - 45 mins should see the job done

Bloody hell that's a bit much for a little switch thingy  :o how much from a regular VX dealer £1000  :D ?

Might well be just using the locking mechanism the old fashioned way at these prices.
