Just seen an Omega!  :y :y
It's been ages since I last saw an Omega out & about & todays Omega was the Holy Grail version ie 3.2 Elite estate!
It was in that rare silver too!  ;D ;D

...almost unique. :)

Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 CD estate manual, star silver 158k miles 9 months MOT registered March 2000.

A reluctant sale to make space, and I'm getting too old for crawling around under it now, so thought I'd post on here first to see if anyone's interested. Lots of work done over the years including new front suspension, 4 new Landsail tyres, lots of paperwork from my ownership and previous.

Asking price £750 (keeping to forum guidelines) - maybe optimistic but it's a start point for any offers.
Runs, drives and handles well, but for a 25 year old car there are a few things worth pointing out.
Drivers door check strap mutilated by a previous owner, so door always wants to close on its own.
Nearside wing mirror horizontal remote control not working (vertical control okay).
Air conditioning not working.
Heater only giving luke warm air.
Rear wheel arch rot stemmed and tidied up with internal anti-corrosion applied.
Some dinks and scratches as you might expect.
Anything else you want to know, please PM. Additional images available for anyone interested.

Where are the builders going to come from to build all these new houses?
.
Exactly right not many youngsters want to learn a trade now & they would rather work in a warm office staring at screen all day to grafting on a building site.
I've done both.  I'd be the first to admit that on a cold, wet day, the staring at screen option is unbeatable, but lacks the fun of real work.  On a nice summer day, I know where I'd rather be!
.

I hope it warms up soon , my son in law is a builder and as work is a bit slow at present I've bought a barn for him to convert & I'm the labourer & money man, hopefully it will make us both a few quid , got to speculate to accumulate as they say. 👍

I’d gathered that it wasn’t her intelligence that got her to where she is today.
And it aint for her looks either.  Lets face it, she's hardly one for the wank bank.

Treated it by chucking it in for an MOT without any prep (too bloody cold!).  It treated me back by advisories I was expecting - all the brakes are spent ;D.  They can wait ;D

Also, although not tested on an MOT (I think?), the headlight washers stopped working around Christmas. Can't hear the pump.  Another job to wait until its warmer!

I saw the first Omega in ages a few weeks ago, it reminded me to collect the 3.2 Elite I accidentally bought from BCA and had left there for 6 weeks  ;D
I've now got a Prestige Blue (Z20Q) 3.2 Elite saloon parked here! Drove it today, it took me back 12/13 years when I drove one every day!

I've been selling really boring Hyundai / Kia things recently, and this 22 year old Vauxhall reminded me they're pretty good!
I guess the difference between appliance cars and real cars.  Still, I suppose the market is moving that way, so as a dodgy used car dealer, you have to follow.

Welcome back - we must be due a meet up at some point, seems to have been ages.  Was it when I nicked an XF for the day? LOL
