Ah yes, £50 for an 8mm Allen key with the end sawn off.  ;D

You could probably buy it direct from Snap-on, without the Jaguar logo, for £49.30 :y

I was looking at getting one of those adapters that fits a ratchet spanner and takes screwdriver bits.  I did have one, but it probably orbiting Jupiter at the moment....

Changed the pollen filter for the first time in hers.  Actually, I suspect it's the first time its ever been changed, as its the worse I've ever seen one.

Took about 45 mins to find all the screws that held glovebox in place, reckon next time it would be about 20 -25 mins, which is still a faff compared to the Omega.  If I bought a battery wrench, as I keep looking at since using Gixer's, I reckon 10 mins tops :)

Obviously, as soon as I had removed the required part of the door seal, Noah's rains came.

Took the Evoque on it's first long test drive since changing the ATF, all good. Probably should refit the undertray though as it's both surprisingly more noisy with the windows down and allowing road grime and cr@p up into the engine bay. First job today after the caffeine kicks in.  :)

Also off to pick up a gearbox service kit for the yank tank today. Not planning on doing it for a while, but it was on offer @£20, so who am I to refuse.

Although seeing as it came from Eurosh!teParts, it probably won't fit.  ;D

I did a XF guide on one of the forums and the XE is the same, bit fiddly, some of the mechanics force it through from the engine bay, not to be recommended!

Yup, seen it, and identical setup  :y

Mine is missing the trim above the footwell and the glovebox has no electrical connections.  Not sure if these are weight saving measures in order to get the weight down enough to get it in the zero tax bracket...

Won't be room for a normal ratchet I suspect, hence a screwdriver bit in a ratchet spanner :)

They're a 10mm hex in two lengths, so a Flexi 10mm ratchet spanner should make light work of it ;)

This  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/362391520745 is the set I have.

If I remember correctly, Runway Enduros were highly rated in some of the great tyre threads of yonder.  :)
