If you insist on painting them, leave the reflectors uncovered...

Enemy artefacts have as much a place in history as our own imho :-\

It's quite easy to become sentimental about aircraft such as the Lancaster and Spitfire, but without worthy adversaries, they would never have been developed...

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Estate Roof Aerial
« on: 11 June 2013, 23:55:35 »
Don't pull down on the headling too hard otherwise is creases permanently  :'(

It's made up of a thin fabric layer backed with foam and stuck to a fibreglass backing. Once the fibreglass is bent, then it's toast.

It does have enough give to allow access once the rear trim is removed :y

This might help...

You can get to the estate aerial by removing the boot lamp and the cover above it :y Access is a bit tighter though :-\

.....
I have pulled of spade ran to earth nothing.  .....

Assuming your ignition was on when you earthed the blue wire, if you didn't get any movement on the gauge you have a fault somewhere ie the gauge itself, or wiring up to it.  :-\
most likely cause is the spade on end of wire-changed about 4 so far this year alone ;)
You'd be surprised ::)

maybe ..... something's amiss.
What does anyone do to a spade connector to make it need to be changed?  ??? The one on my car is OE & is 13 yr old  ;D
