3.0 or the (far superior imo) 3.2. If your towing.  Over 200hp with these.

The2.5 TD has a ar25 box which struggles to cope with the torque of the engine. Towing will worsen that I would think. Easily fixed by fitting an ar35 box and then you can chip it. But you may not want that agro.

Defo want a v6 IMO.

Bedroom size is an issue where we are. We spent almost a year looking for a house with decent size bedrooms. So relatively speaking our bedrooms are quite big, bit still small IMO.

This also makes finding another house better than the one we have, but with the extra features very difficult.

Mrs. KW's aunt has this for sale at the moment:

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-37137205.html

Needs a bit of work, TBH, but 4 bedrooms with en-suite, in a nice area. Double garage and car port.

Ooh that ticks some boxes. I'll show H. We'd have cash left over too. Although we've just gone through the pain of fitting a new kitchen. Well I say just, must be 6 years ago now. Guess I better finish it off.  ;D
Commute would be doubled though, and I know she won't like the bed rooms over the car port as we have both had bedroom over garages as kids, and they are a bugger to keep warm.

I really like the car port though. Hmm.

Fantastic news, congratulations again.

From us both.  :y

The brother box on the back of bank 1 is very primitive. There's nothing special in there. If its blocked they just need to force a suitable blunt thin object through the pin hole and that's job done. Blowing through the pipes to it will show if its clear. If blocked remove the pipes and clear the blockage. Simples.

That applies to the plenum and the whole breather system btw.  :y

Its a good job I'm a cinic by nature, as I actually find the bumpf for this quite believable.  :-\ But still refuse to use it. Must be snake oil, right?

Apologies if teaching egg sucking though.  :-\

can usually keep it at 18mpg in town by coasting the autos alot more ime.

It can be an interesting challenge to drive as much as possible with no feet on the pedals for as long as possible. Entry speed into roundabouts etc needs precise judgement from way back up the road. I mean there's bog all else to do stuck behind a blue rinse on a midweek lunchtime. ;D

Jedi powers are handy too.   ;D

Anyone having trouble with battery life on the 5?

By that I mean huge battery drain while browsing. Even after turning other features off. 6 hours of web use. I don't remember that on the 4.  :-\
I wasn't going to say anything encase I was the only one but yes :-\
With all the features on, its quite horrific just on stand by, and gets extremely hot with maps and safari etc open. Its like its doing everything at once.

Battery doctor helps, but only up to a point. Ime.

6.1(?) was the start of it iirc.

Don't forget Chris they're starting to build the first of 2 thousand houses 1/2 mile from me,butting up to the A329M...and as the corrupt Reading council have said they are going to be 'affordable' oink! oink! NOT!! ::)
Yes I've seen the adverts and stuff in the agents windows. Utter rubbish. I won't do another New build anyway,  but that aside, they all seem to be so crammed in. Front doors not 5 feet from the pavement, and those with a garage barely have enough room to get a good size car on the drive, be able to open the garage door, and not have the boot blocking the pavement so pedestrians have to step into the road.

My journey home sees the traffic backed all the way up downshire way/329m to the motorway slip roads. All because of that stupid junction they put in to service that new development.

Which is a good point. That makes access to Crowthorne and Sandhurst area from Bracknell a nightmare that will only get worse.  :(
