Popped in some temporary headlights on TBE. Hoovered yet more glass up from the scuttle area.

Popped some new switches into the fob of joshwyatt's car after getting pissed off it wouldn't unlock ;D

I could see from pics that grille was buggered, will the bumper survive or is that fubar as well?
Got the bumper back from the bodyshop today :)

Continued the rewire of the the VW bus. Almost finished now. Much neater lots less wires every where and I stand a better chance of all electrics working rather than 50% in a random order.  :-[

Tried to get the 3.2 on the drive to start.Fitted known good crank sensor. Checked fuel getting up to engine bay.Peeked under cambelt cover and found belt isn't broken. Seems to fire a little on maybe a cylinder ortwo but wont start.
Pedal trick next I think.

All most finished the wiring on the bus. All electrics now work first time everytime........ Well almost, both rear light units were completely buggered. So much corrosion and the badly worn bulb sockets prompted me to just say "they're crap I'll just buy new ones". Problem is if I by chinshin made after market ones they will be crap still. So I bit the bullet and got genuine Hella replacement ones with proper glass lenses instead of faded plastic ones. Thing is quality costs. Chinshin after market guaranteed till the first screw threads about 40 quid the pair. Hella made by the gods, scented by  Mermaids and delivered in a silk and fur lined box by Kierra Knightly and Megan Fox while U2 play on the front lawn............... 190 quid. The wife's gonna kill me......... She's just seeded that front lawn.  :-[

Still at least I've proven my loom and all MY recent connections work. Just let down by Mr Chinshin  :'( :'( :'(

Despite the fact that it now has only one exhaust tip (the other one rusted off), completely knackered front wishbones (you have to wrestle with the steering when braking or going over any kind of crest) and a severely rattling droplink ... I drove it to work..

Only because I needed to pick up a boot load of furniture on the way there, though ;D

Really must con Chris into giving me a hand do the wishbones soon.
