Well, yesterday.... Swapped the complete wiper mechanism from the DTi onto the V6 due to seizure of the mechanism - spindle for passenger wiper arm was seized - should have done something about it a while ago as there was evidence of rusty water dripping off the underside of it.
Greased the joints on the donor so hopefully should be good for a while, it's the smoothest the wiper action has been in all the time I've owned the car!

Fitted torque control arm , even though it will be coming off tomorrow for full engine strip down  :( The rubber bushes had all split and perished on the old arm . Genuine part as well  ;D

Filled up the Westfield. 25.77 litres into a 27 litre tank. ::)

How far do you get on your 27 litres, though?

About 175 if I'm lucky (and wait until I'm really twitchy before filling up). ;)

Not bad - 30-32mpg, somewhere around there.. Respectable for something that's so much fun!

Got the cabby cleaned inside and out,got 2 airfreshners aswell,it's ok tb they are sun shaped lol

I popped out at lunch time to fill it up, as I heard the fuel pump sucking air in the car park, and was worried that the remains would evaporate through the breather in the afternoon sun. ::)

Popped in some temporary headlights on TBE. Hoovered yet more glass up from the scuttle area.

Popped some new switches into the fob of joshwyatt's car after getting pissed off it wouldn't unlock ;D

I could see from pics that grille was buggered,will the bumper survive or is that fubar as well?

welllll ...my car nowt ...was going to clean it out but it's too hot out there

BUT ...my new car ...well I've paid a deposit on it and started dreaming of getting it!!  :D ;D

New disc pads all round, new coolant tank, oil & filter change, new pollen filter, Plugs and new brake fluid "bled" through
