hi ive had a leak on right bank passenger side of engine somewher by camcover/oil filler.had service fri mechanic whoses a mate said he thinks its the camcover or oil filler cap/neck poss.had the other camcover done by serek last year with a new cover no leak at all.i guess new camcover right side and filler neck and cap???what you think gents?doesnt drip on roads and use fair bit of oil but no drip to floor thanx

hi got a problem with part for nearside steering no one can get the part its a steering link /steering idler?? had all the other bits done drives straight but cant have tracking done until that part is replaced any ideas chaps?

cant set the date and year anymore on dash same as temp but time always good tried resetting dozen of times but it goes to 2001 car was made 2002 havnt got a clue with it.some car sparks had a go but he said the ncd 2013 doesn't belong to the car I said it worked perfectly for 14 years ive had it then went haywire when alternator was changed.

hi anyone know where to get nearside rack pinion? got mot today been to get 2 tyres fitted and both track rod ends need replacing and nearside rack pinion which goes upwards cheers

hi bought new battery in jan from halfords a good one,new alternator last oct new starter motor in march.never had any problems in starting till aug 1st batttery flat after parking couple of days first time couldnt start it flat a s a pancake.greenflag come started car with the booster he had to re code the the key then wouldnt fire as immobliser blocking it he cracked it good as gold ,he said maybe duff battery. 6months old eh! done 300 miles last week left it over weekend same thing again wouldnt start but key ok.rac come new battery fitted he said theres a little drain but didnt know what was doing it.so took old battery back to halfords they charged it up today and said its fine i said its fine when its charged up like any other battery but loses its charge when left for 2 to 3 days they wont refund my money for a shit battery in my opinion.maybe im wrong

car been running great,went to start it just no power faint dash lights central locking not functioning had new starter motor 4 months ago new battery 6 months ago green showing and new alternator 9 months ago and aux belt had gearbox recd all great but engine not turning or any sigh of life.what could it be???

went for a run for about 80 miles today with the family round the cotswolds,checked oil before all good.driving 50 mph on average had a blast for 5 miles 80 mph slowed down to stop and big puff of smoke out of exhaust then just a bit and it stopped,only been driving round town since march.drove great no warning lights just wondered what caused it,an ideas chaps?
