That said, depending on the job, I don't think any of her piercings or tattoos make her "unemployable".

My background is retail management, and now I am, let's say, in official customer services and your appearance has to be spot on and convential for you to be taken seriously, and for your customers not to run away screaming!!

However, if you are on a production line, in a drawing office, or in a fashion design house, then you can look as "revolutionary" as you like.
She is employable, but it is horses for courses!

I am glad you said that Lizzie. Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, there is still a thing in society called 'normality'.
We 'normals' as we call ourselves, still look upon 'abnormality' with, not necessarily with disgust, but with 'distrust'.
I, personally, would not employ her where one to one customer connection is part of the job.

I do believe the majority of us
still, even in this day and age, retain the opinion that an outward appearance of tidiness, cleanliness, etc give a good example of the quality we are trying to achieve in business
