hi all       my speakers on the doors have a rather large
( dirty looking ) black area   my car has beige cloth so it shows out big time    only around the speaker area
 what causes it   and can it be cleaned easy   
 as  i might be selling my car

hi  all

 yesterday   changed brake disks and pads    but not sensors as they looked ok       but now ive got message up saying  "  brake pad  "    would i be right in thinking that ive upset sensors or have i done something  else wrong

  ps  brakes work  fine

on my dash ( since ive played with the buttons ) ive always got fan on speed 1       i do want eco on (so the off button not an option )  got cold air to either screen / floor / or face  lit up    dont think my air con works   so thats why i leave eco on ?    im  sure (before playing with buttons ) i never used to have to have fan on at all      but it only now seems   to go off when " off is pressed " then fuel goes up quite a bit ?    yours  faithfully    paul

at the mo    the eco button dosent seem to want to work    yet WAS fine until i played around with buttons over weekend      at mo auto and eco come on together and when i press auto eco dosent stay on     on its own     wish i didnt play around

since ive been playing with the buttons on dash   ( trying to get air con to work )  i now cannot get eco back on      at mo it says off and now appears to be drinking more than its fair share of fuel ?  pressed auto    off goes off  and the fans start   press eco and nothing ??   has been ok  but  since ive played today and yesterday ? now its not

i purchased a 2 din convertor   so i could fit my old   but better jvc 1 din cd / radio in     got it off e*ay   just got the problem of ramming it home     paul

ive  only got one glovebox ??  i think my old    s reg mig had 2     but my v reg facelift im sure has only 1     the airbag sits on top of glovebox ??  its annoying the radio is  sticking out a good 2 inches

all sorted    i had to move car 20ft out of other peoples way  then     thought id just try it again    and hey presto all buttons and doors lock      i bloody hate it when you get a fault then it disappears as quick as it comes

 thanks to all who replied   

only problem ive got now is radio wont go all the way in apature     paul

hi  all    since my earlier posting   today     new radio now fitted ( and working )  but ive lost all central locking   all i done was push coat hanger thru radio apature to get cd cable up ( and no it didnt touch anything electrical     and also pushed in new radio cage

  1st just noticed it when i pushed boot realise on dash and nothing    then tried key and nothing     i  havent done key yet    but  DO NOT WANT TO ARM ALARM   will locking with key ARM THE ALARM     please help   urgent    paul

thanks for reply     just wasnt sure about ohmage   but my jvc done my old mig  ok    that said  not to sure what problems you do get if there not matched  ?  2  ohm  /  4 ohm                 there not bose speakers

is there a differance between speakers in an prefacelift and a facelift miggy ?

 ive had fitted in my old miggy ( s reg ) an jvc 12 disk multichanger ( in boot )  and it worked fine   just wondered if i could now fit it in my v reg facelift
 wasnt sure if the ohm  thinging   changed or not ??
 only differance i see at mo is the 1 din and 2 din issue ( old and newer cars )

boot lid light works  so do both rear fogs and both rear reverse lights

 seems strange that this has come on since fitting rear parking sensors       only cut into the black/white (reverse) and a large brown    (earth) 

 rear sensors work fine ??
