The Contitech kits from Buypartsby are fine. I have them on both my Omegas. (Note to self, Bullet is way overdue  :-[).

Webby, I know in the past you have used my camlock kit.  I just wanted to say, in case it wasn't obvious, this isn't available at the moment, due to the incident with the garage. Being ali, not a hope in hell of it having survived the heat.

Hi guys,

I get paid tomorrow so going to order my belt from buy parts by.

This is the one I want at what seems to be a good price. but it doesn't say whether its a gates or contitech. however the part number starts with CT... does that indicate its a contitech?

also going to get a new aux belt. mine has air con..... are there different sizes for with / without AC?

There's a conti tech  water mark on the belt map.

Ac is an extra pulley on the aux run, so non ac will be considerably shorter.

Nope.  If you do find other issues during stripdown, these can easily be replaced after the event :)

Not doing the water pump while the front end is all stripped?

Some grease to re-grease the aux belt tensioner pulley bearings.

no mate. too expensive and mines not broken. if it breaks down shortly after the strip downs easy so not a prob.

thanks for the reminder re the grease!  :y
