Hi Guys,Can anyone tell me where i will find the auto box ECU on my 02 2.2 Omega,any advice will be appreciated,thanks, Mick.

Drives side kick panel from memory.

Unusal request though....Whats up with it?

It appears to be stuck in third gear,and i have no illumination on the sport button or the the snow mode button, allthough i can select the gears manually.

I wouldnt be toucking the ECU just yet....not a lot you can do with it anyway.

First port of call is normally to clean the selector switch on the side of the gearbox - Think we have a guide on it.
Does the sport button actually work - does it push the Sport mode indicator on the dash.

How do the gear selector lights behave?

Have you checked or changed the transmission fluid at all?

Are there any other issues with the car?

Will attempt to clean the selector switch first of all,sport illumination does not light up on dash,and i have not attempted fluid change as yet allthough from past experience on other cars i have owned this has been very beneficial,the only thing with this box is, i have heard draining and refilling is not that straightforward?

Messy, but not too hard.

Do all the gears change ok manually?

Any codes in engine ECU? Could probably do with proper diags on it.
