hi all

following on from my p1700 code

today engine management light came on and in limp mode also noticed that all the lights were lit up by the gear selector restarted car all was fine, is this any clue as to what is wrong at all  :-\

okay just had gearbox codes read

po705 gear position sensor

forgive me for sounding stupid but I haven't a clue does this mean its knackered :'(

The grease has probably broken down. I have had the same problem

It will need cleaning and regreasing but the tracks could also be worn

3 ways to buy a second user, use a silver conductive paint or if your good enough run a thin smooth line of solder
