Going back to the original idea of offering services, I must admit to being a bit surprised by the lack of a basic "Weblinks" page, although if you do have one, I apologise for not noticing it and would ask you to show me where it is.
Apart from the Member Services offered on things like Cambelt parties etc etc, there are also many trade companies out there, myself included, who would love to promote our company and services to all the car clubs irresepctive of whether we are active members or not, and many other clubs have "Links" pages that advertise the products and services available to all.
Apart from the obvious benefits to myself of offering Car Audio Decoding and Repairs, It can also provide a worthwhile solution to many members who may need mine and other similar services.
There is an easy way to regulate this. If this was offered out on a "Free Reciprocal Link" basis, ie, for every company that you listed a return Banner Advert and weblink to, they would also have to offer one back to the OOF free of charge on an EASY TO FIND page on their own website, and this would eliminate many of the companies who were in it to promote themselves and no-one else (insurance comapnies etc etc) But the benefit that I would also mention is Google search rankings. The more links you have coming into and out of your website, the higher up the Google ranking list you go, meaning that the Omega Owners Club could be advertised to many more people who were otherwise not aware it existed due to being placed higher in the search results.
If you wanted to start off with someone, I am more than happy to play guinea pig and add a reciprocal link to my own corporate website, and would simply ask for a moderator to get in touch with me to arrange banners / URL`s etc etc.
