Pulling this back to the original question... 50 posts is nothing, only took me 5 or 6 days to get over that. Now I just need a Miggy to sell :P

i honestly dont see the point in having a minimum limit on cars FS anyway.

i mean, its not like parts when you generally hand over your cash blind. buying a car you physically take the car with you.

but then its just me cuz i have one to sell. lol

sour grapes?

as a noobie i can see it from both sides
the post limit is there to try and protect genuine members froom the scammers and post and run brigade  however i am a bit of a forum lurker  i spend alot of time reading and very little time posting  as such it would take me a while to reach the limit required even tho i spend alot of time on the forum.

i think its fine to allow low  post forum users to advertise for face to face transactions  but  perhaps a higher limit for anything done through the postal system

I agree with doog - and see it from both points, but similar to him i tend to lurk on the forum than post alot (i dont have much to offer i guess ;D )

i understand that post counts is an easy way to regulate who uses the for sale forums - but in the same vain, ive been on here for months and have next to no posts and have been wanting parts ever since i signed up!... with the current post count regulations, ive found myself just turning to ebay and other places for parts and wanted posts, rather than sittin trying to PM people constantly about parts (most of which end up being ignored i think lol), would just be easier to put up a wanted post with all the random bits im after ;D just  my thoughts on it lol

I kindof think that on this forum its different. Its not hard to reach a 50 post count BECAUSE the forum is not just about cars.  As I've said before, I don't even drive, my other half has a miggy and yet I post fairly regularly because of the good atmosphere on the forum.  On other car forums, well, I can get a bit terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tiredy lol and would not post at all.., but that's cause of my situation (not trying to insult all other car forums here lol).

ok, I made a mistake and did not notice the lack of posts by this user.  Thought I would help someone out.

You want deletion/expulsion/resignation or what?   :-/
