Foxconn, being the largest mobo manufacturer in the world, really do have some reliable stuff generally.

In Dell's case, obviously Optiplex is often going to be the most suitable, but Dimension and Inspiron have their place in the office as well.  An Dell's (Business) support is pretty bloody good (though you have to go through the motions of their script sheet)

I've made good money fixing f-ups that wannabe IT specialists have deployed without thinking about it, so have seen it done many times ;)

Emailed ASRock tech support and they sent me prog for re-writing mac address in dos.

and it only bloody works

well happy :)
