Hi All, Me Again :-[

Well the car is running rough all the time now but decided to check the temp sensor as suggested and replaced it when i realised how much i had to do to get to it :o :o put back together again and........... Still running rough..  :( :(

Then decided to do another paper-clip test(with engine running) and got all these codes:

71  Intake Air Temperature Voltage High
73   Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage Low
74   Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage High
129   Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Feedback Voltage Low
33   Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Voltage Low
21   Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Voltage High
57   Idle Air Control Voltage Low

Now I really am worried  :o :o

I'm starting to think the ECU may be on it's way out :'( :'(

Any suggestions gratefully received  :y :y
I think these will all be codes stored as a result of you disconnecting things and running the engine.

Tech2 can tell the difference between current codes and stored codes but if you are doing the paperclip test you just get the codes.

Worst case scenario is that you have got the beginnings of a head gasket failure. Coolant seeps into one of the cylinders when the engine is stopped but the cooling system still hot and pressurised.

Far more likely is that you have a faulty plug, plug lead or DIS pack.

Just a note to say don't buy genuine leads from vauxhall they wanted £110 per side  :o :o :o £220 for all six  :o :o :o
To say i was shocked was an understatement  :o even the guy on the phone said he realised why they don't sell many  :-X

Where as my local Allparts sold me a complete set of 6 for £50  :y :y
