one day.... Very experienced riders by the looks.

Managed a trip to the bol dor at Paul ricard near Marseille once. Ferry to Bilbao and ride across the Piranese. A relatively short "long trip" fairly eventful for our group of 5. Some dodgy car drivers, in the uk, one side swiped a panier on a mates exup, and we hadnt even got to plymouth, no problem with car drivers in europe. A puncture. A crash on diesel,me. ::), thunder storms that held up the 24 hour race for 6 or so hours. One hell of a show though. Flooded the camp site. When we left, abandoned tents all over the place and a couple of gold wings up to the seat in water. Not fun.

Not to mention the head f*** of riding on the wrong side of the road. Camping often means a poor night sleep which i hate as it affects concentration the next day.

Often fancied a lap of the med, ferry to bilbao ride to Gibralter ferry across to north Africa and ride round to Turkey and Grease and back up that way through croatia. Would never get through Libya i guess.Isreal could be interesting. :-(
Realisticly better the other way and get the ferry back to Italy if stuck.

Trouble is, so many things beyond your controle.....
Plus i think i've used up all my luck on bikes.
Went down on a CBR6 in '91. Did the full run from Calais. Iron Maiden were headlining on Saturday. Bruce Dickinson started the race.  :y

Only a biker truly understands why a dog sticks it's head out of the window of a moving car.

Mad init. The swiss are clearly as suppersed as rumoured, riding round at 3am with silencer removed and bouncing it off the rev limiter. Ear plugs a must. I hear chain saws are all the rage these days. Silencer swapped for mega phone exhaust, chain removed obviously. Mad but no agro, all good fun. :-)
