Ah! Just testing, and you passed!  :-[  ;) & now that i've looked again I can see it's a split screen. Pre 57? 58?

I'd just about noticed the additional flashers!  :y  :y

Oct 57 was the changeover ;)

Rears are truck side markers mounted on the bumper irons, fronts I replaced the side light lenses and backs with glass pre 68 mini minor orange lenses. Moved the sidelights into headlights.

There used to be an old Minor saloon around our way that had the USA type combined red stop/tail/indictor at the back. I belive it's legal if your car is old enough.  :y  :y  :y
Lighting on old cars is poles apart from modern stuff. Rear lamps were tiny & some front side lights were prcatically useless (Jag Mk II ) I know speeds were nothing like today, but it's a wonder old cars ever managed to be seen.
Front lights were hopeless too. My Dad used to have a 1949 Triumph (razor edged) saloon ...... it was similar to but not a Renown, when you dipped the lights, the driver's went OUT  :o & the reflector on the nearside swiveled to give the dipped beam to the kerb!

September 63 that was taken off the Minor, my 4 door saloon was registered 1st Sept. 63 and had the side/flash fronts and the later split rears (orange turn).

Had a frogeye and the headlights were shite ;D
