I wish they wouldn't call them rather' limos when they are funeral cars!!!! >:( >:(

A limo has a mini bar, a tv etc., these have a holder for mansize kleenex!!!!!

Why was it that they build an extended Omega, but only equip it with a 2.5 litre engine?! :-/ :-/ :-/

i had a 2.5 and when i had my caravan on the back it still at one point goin uphill on the a1 was taking it in its stride at 90 mph ::) ::)

I've been considering a Wilcox Omega statesman limousine, facelift model with the 3.2, in black. The highroof versions clearly are funeral cars, but the normal height roof one's look ok. But Wilcox never made a low version, another company did, and I can only find one with the 2.2 144bhp engine with auto gearbox  :-/
Harldy going to be rushing about the place in it, but a V6 would be better.
I've found my ideal one, 2002 '52' 3.2 V6 in black with leather,xenons, 36k miles, Elite interior but no boot spoiler..and it has the front wing mounted flag pole holders, but it's not cheap  :D
You could buy a few of Roger Budden's Omega's for the price  ;D

The V5 will have stretched saloon. The last UK car to have the honour of 'limousine' was the Daimler DS420 .......


which was from a long time before the Yanks bastardised the word to mean some horrible white monstrosity that you'd use for a prom night  ::)  ::)  ::) ;)

I do love the ds420's, but you either buy a cheap one which will undoubtedly need plenty of welding, or a mint one for a lot of money. The last one made I believe is a 1993 'K' registered one which belonged to HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. I think there is a ds420 website with details all about it. I could just about justify an Omega funeral car (to keep Lee happy)  ;D but not a ds420.

They're often painted an off/Olde English white & have sides with more waves down their sides than Morecambe beach.  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D


I used to love being driven back to school in one ..... Christ! That was 35 yrs ago!  :o
