yep, try to get it for 16 or less, they pop up all the time in trader and on ebay, tell him to ignore parkers and look what they sell for, or even tell him to have a look on here!!

Welcome to the forum Wayne. 1999 - 2000 was the changover time from minifacelift to full facelift  the latter having a few subtle inprovements which may affect the price

I owned a 2.0 CDX auto on a W plate for about 18 months.

Loads of toys, more than enough to keep me happy.  BUT I hated the sluggish engine.  For me, it was just too slow.  I understand that the 2.2 replacement isn't much quicker off the mark.

That said, the fuel economy weren't too bad.  I'd be surprised if you can't find a CDX spec in a 2.5 for very similar money though.......

Drive both engines and see what you think.

The CDX spec is very very generous!!
