There is approx 1/2 - 1" play in the accelerator pedal - how & where is the best place to adjust i.e. at the pedal end of the cable or at the plenum end?

Cheers for any advice.

Up at the plenum end... IIRCC there's a slide which goes over the grove in the cable outer casing

^^^  Wot he said, can make a difference to kickdown, and acceleration if too slack.

As above, don't make it too tight though, you still want about a 1/4" of play. 1" is excessive.

Some idiot ( ) had put the clip on the wrong side so there was 2 inches of play ( )- no wonder kickdown wouldn't work and even old grannies on there eleccy chariots were overtaking me.
