calibrating temperature guage if its "out"
« on: 13 June 2009, 18:12:03 »

if your temp guage displays 100 when its at 95 in the tank, is there any way of making an alteration to the calibration set point? or if so, does it need the old tec 2?

Worth getting a tech2 on it to see what engine ecu says temp is, and what instrument says temp is, that should give some clues.

Ensure variant coding on panle is right

Simon - the reading needs to come from the coolant temp sensor area near the coolant bridge - doubt you'd get an accurate reading from the header tank......
