when you get out(with keys in hand) open rear door...push drivers door button down, then close back door. this will stop it activating the alarm. hth.

other thing to try is closing the internal vents / removing dangling air fresheners etc  or diasabling the ultrasonics (running man button)

best bet is to get plugged into a decent diag computer and read the alarm log for what is triggering it.

Hi everybody. Thanks very much for all your advice. I have doing the back door method and then simply locking drivers door with the key, and then opening it with the keyfob . no lights flash when locking with the key. so i presume it is not arming itself ?.seems to be a lot better only went off once in last 24hrs but it was surrounded by 30 very noisy mods and  mopeds.I will try all your other surggestions  ,then let you know. Many Many Thanks SpiKeqed.!!!

IF the alarm is still going off when you just use the door buttons, you have a faulty powersounder, as the alarm isnt set.

Its under the drivers side wiper scuttle, PLEASE unplug / and remove it, these go up in flames when they go faulty, and may take the whole car with it, we have seen it a lot of times, including on my own driveway!
