Changing drivers solenoid
« on: 24 November 2011, 23:05:50 »

Some of you may remember that I had this problem with this door  last year and was told it could be the soleniod  but I needed to put a new car  battery on the car as she let me down one morning. But after changeing that  the  drivers door was opening and closeing as it should be until now that is. Since the very damp weather  conditions  have come in it has stopped working again.  All the other doors and boot lid open fine except the the drivers door which Im using the key on to lock and unlock .

I have a 2nd hand one on the way from one of the breakers on here  and was wandering if anybody could  point us in the right direction as to a guide on how to do the job  and also watch out for any pitfalls that I  may come Accross in the changeover
