Caught the 15s highlights on the news - not that the telly here has a good enough aerial, idiots - and suspect I saw all the overtaking.

Strangely, I don't seem upset I missed the race ::)

Actually there was quite a lot, but mostly in the midfield area

thier loss. :)
But did I here in the commentary, Red Bull sent thier pit crew into pit lane just to hinder the Mclaren pit stop? Then went an sat in the garage again, not intention of servicing a Red Bull car...?

Yep, second stops, McLaren pitted Button and Hamilton on the same lap (he had a 11+ second lead) and RB came out, made out they were going to pit and then went back in straight away as soon as the McLarens were done ::) Then had a mad dash to pit Vettel during the Safety Car that came immediately after ::)

Surprised you didn't set the alarm for the race this morning ???

I missed all the fancy dancy Sky interactive stuff (didn't get up until 7.30am - apparently my body thinks this is a lie in?) but enjoyed the race coverage that I'd recorded.

Apart from the interviews at the end; Mr Hill should probably stick to running the BRDC or whatever he does these days, because he doesn't look comfortable behind a microphone!

I thought the BBC's coverage was absolutely fine, the main difference being lack of Brundle's voice on the commentary but Ben Edwards and DC did a very good job. Jake Humphrey also very good as usual - glad he stayed with the Beeb. Also, love 'em or hate 'em I actaully like the banter from "the 3 Amigo's" (Jake, DC and Irvine).  :y
Sorry Tunnie, but I won't be shelling out for Sky (but then you're not biased at all eh?) ::)

Is that Eddie Jordan gone then? ... he comes accross as a bit of a knob IMO. And DC's posh jock impression...well.

Jake Humphries is the only thing I missed from the sky programme.

Although agree re Damon Hill coments above. Nice bloke, poor presenter.

Damn! getting the two Eddie's mixed up - I actually meant Jordan, not Irvine. ::) Yeah he can be a bit of a knob but I kinda like him because he speaks his mind and doesn't give a rat's arse who he pee's off. ;)

I liked it when Eddie asked the Ferrari boss if he was going to build a new car as the present one was shite ;D ;D

It is his first race, I did find some of the comments funny about his red shirt + white hair combination, making him look like santa  ;D

Hopefully he might relax a bit as the season goes on.....
