This copper slip is incredible stuff. Wonder what else it will fix...?

I had to kick the passenger rear wheel off from underneath the car for quite some time as it was stuck solid  >:( a smear of the gold grease on the hub will hopefully fix that  ;)

Chris in your post are you referring to  shims or springs.

I think eatmydust is talking about the flat thin metal things that clip on to your pads...........defo fit the anti squeal things cos they also help to keep the pads off the discs when your not breaking........

The metal plate thingy that fits between the pad pins on the back i meant , not the plate that sits behind the pads ...there wasnt any of them anyway  :-\

Just like the metal plate in the picture ... thats what was corroded and broken up and what i left off .

Anti squeal.......they also keep the pads away from the disc when your not breaking.......
