Front wheels
« on: 12 March 2012, 18:23:54 »

Could somebody help me please....

I getting to point of insanity, I have changed wishbones twice now put polybushes in the front bush of the wishbone.

Had 4 wheel alignment (spelling)

And today i find this:

O/S

N/S

Now the problem i have been having is when braking it was pulling to the left since fitting polys it is i'd say 95% better on braking, What could be causeing this with the nearside wheel a little bit further back than the offside.

Thanks in advance.

Yep, your castor angle is out, where did you have the alignment done?

I would go back & ask if they checked your camber or castor.

I would go back and ask for your money back, then book it into WIM at Chesham .. seem to be the only folk who know what they are doing !!

Are you thinking the subframe could have moved?  :-\

WIM move the subframe to adjust castor ... so if it's "moveable" it might have "moved" on it s own .. or someone has been messing ......

Needs a "proper" setting up by someone who knows what they are doing IMHO

As said subframe position needs correcting. Might also be caused by accident damage.

However, I've seen worse on my own cars with no pulling on the brakes.

So it's important to correct that issue first obviously.

Question no. 1. How tight are the wishbone bolts? I'm looking for a torque wrench setting figure. :)

have seen lots of cars worse than that.. generally big potholes or accidents can cause that..

my clit had that when I bought it.. and it required to visit to a chasis correction shop.. :-\

ps: never seen it on a miggy but before moving subframe, some distances must be measured ..

4 wheel alignment is as much use as a used johnny, smear in dogshit. Utterly pointless. At best, if the retards know how to use it, it only ensures that the rear wheels follow the front, irrespective of where the front my point.

Given your location, try WIM in Chesham. Mention OOF when booking for discount.

Not with polly. Doesnt matter.

Oe bushes yes, wheels must be loaded with suspension arm sitting at correct ride hight.
