You can fit a device called a line-lock to the front brakes. Effectively just a valve that allows you to hold the fluid pressure in front brakes only. Not that I'm into such activities but I did witness an amusing burn-out competition at Le Mans where various exotica (with clueless drivers) attempted to do the same and failed due to too much grip or even just a failure to turn off the TC.
Then.. along came some likely lads in a beaten up "B" reg Fraud Sierra with the rear window fabricated from some attractive polythene.
Anyway, they had made 3 modifications to this vehicle from what I could see:
Fit the cheapest, hardest tyres they could find.
Fit a line lock
Fit a V8.
Needless to say, once the laughter had died down they left rubber for about 1/2 the length of the Mulsanne straight and left egg on a few faces too.
