ABS ECU connector removal
« on: 15 April 2012, 16:45:16 »

Hello

I'm having problem removing the ABS ECU connector. There seems to be a purple sliding latch.
Any know where what position the latch needs to be to remove the connector?

thanks

Push the latch towards n/s wing as far as it will go then it will release the connector

Careful not to break the "handle" part of the latch off - the Estate one was very tight, so I started it moving by slipping a knife blade between the latch and the casing and twisting gently.  A squirt of WD40 helped.
