Cruise control not working!
« on: 17 April 2012, 17:45:00 »

Hi helpful gurus of all things....  ;D

Ok, I fitted the cruise control and nothing is happening!

Should I get a light on the dash?
I have fitted both switches and I can't see that I've done anything wrong???

Any ideas???

When you say there was already a brake switch present, does that mean you didn't fit the cruise switch you'd bought? The original may not have been for cruise?

Odds-on you had a 2-pin switch fitted. When fitted and connected it looks the same as a 4-pin (which you need) ;)

As RobG says, you need the 4 pin (two pairs of contacts inside) for your cruise. It'll only take you a couple of minutes to swap over switches.  :y

Ok, I could be wrong but the cruise switch is the one with the big lump on it?

2-pin & 4-pin look the same externally when fitted ;)
