................although I think Rosberg is a very good driver tbh.Potential champion in the right car imo.
His dad was a mighty driver,as brave as they come. His lap of the old silverstone on a track which wasnt completely dry in 1985 was staggering.He averaged over 160mph, a record which stood for about 20 years.
He finished the lap,got out of the car and sparked up a rothmans.How times have changed.

He won the championship in 82 even though he only won one race that year. Cant ever remember it happening before or since,although 82 was a very strange year in F1. Ferrari had actually produced a genuinely quick car for the first time in a few years and Villenueve was expected to win the title. He was killed in Belgium so the expectation then fell on his (treacherous) team mate Pironi. He had the mother of all accidents at Hockenheim which ended his career,so Rosbergs steady run of podiums and single win meant he ended up as champion.
