Couple of things to consider, after space and sleeping rooms.....

Head height - better if you can stand straight to put your kecks on rather than lying down.
Hydrostatic head - or how waterproof it is.  Higher the number, the better.
Welded seams - what it says.  Makes sure the seams are waterproof.
Weight - steel poles are heavy but tent can be more robust.
Sod cloth - strip at the bottom of the tent outer that can be tucked under the groundsheet if its not a sewn in one.

If its just for occassional summer use, make is not the most important issue, imho....   :y

Think pinkness may be more important than make to Daz ;D

Buy one made of plastic, has a fully equipt kitchen, heating, shower, TV and you can pull behind your car on it's own trailer. I think they are called caravans  ;)

This way you have more boot space for your beer!  :y

And a fridge to put you beer in when you get there. ;D ;D ;D

Wife and I use this one at home and abroad.  Sleep in the 2 person bit, bags and junk in the three bit, leaves loads of space to lounge around in and cook.  Like the doors as well.....

Price is good, if you get it for that.  Weighs a bit though....

I've got a Conway Trailer tent. It's REALLY old, but it's still got years left in it. They are far, far better than a normal tent...2 double beds that are 4' off the floor, power, heating plus it's bigger than a caravan once errected and a doddle to tow.
