Green Flag - if she's covered that way - gets my vote as well ... :)

Q
How far will the car drive?
How far away from home do you have to be before Green Flag will take you to a destination a long way from home.

Only asking, but needs some thought. :)

And dont forget a recovery company will only take you one way, so if you get thirty miles from home they will take the car to Telford but your not going to want to come with it :-/

I am not convinced by the Green Flag idea, she has the opportunity to get it to where it needs to be. Cost £150.00 ish must be worth it.
When I get round to sorting mine out, I would do that if needed to get it to where the experts are.
If Green Flag how does Kate get there, with the recovery driver?
only my 2d worth. :)

With Greenflag she'd have to accompany the car to Shifnal ..... however .. a train or coach home would be a lot less than £150 ... And she'd be in the same situation car south she north for collection once its sorted ...

I reckon the saving is at least £100 .. and she's paid for GF anyway ... as long as she has the correct cover ...

my 2.35p's worth (inc VAT )   :)

They will take the car without Kate, all she has to do is get home ;)

I never had to go with my car, I broke down a few years ago on the M1, i got a lift to my destination in London and the recovery company took my car back home without me

How long do you think it will take to fix?  I guess more than one day?
