vacuum line search

i have a 97 cadillac catera. i took off the to plenum to replace a collant tem sensor. there is a balck peice on top of the plenum with 4 vacuum line coming out of it. when i lifted the plenum there was a 5th hose it dont look like it was attached a vacumm port because the end of the like is straight not swollen like it attached to any thing does any one know what im talking about it is the same size in diameter as the 4 on the plenum but it is shot and cant go very far i thought it came of the lower intake bout cant tell were. btw the area im talking about is at the rear of the engine some one lease help if you can. raymondsamples@comcast.net

That is your auto gearbox breather pipe, and is nothing to worry about :y
