Hi Guys,

Sadly I am breaking my 2000 W Plate Elite Estate in Red, Z549. I didn't intend or want to do this, but having purchased the car mainly for the CID, it's proved economical through MOT and Insurance for me to keep it on the road alongside my MV6. Given the drop in Omega value, combined with the fact she's bubbling around the arches etc, I thought it would be for the best.

Although I say all parts are available, I have to be clear that respecting my neighbours is number 1, really - so I can't leave doors off it for days, etc. Therefore the plan is to strip it in two stages.

Stage 1 will be any items which can be removed, but keep it looking "like a car"

Stage 2, will be things like doors, body panels, etc. These will be removed on the day the scrap collection man comes for the shell.

I must also point out that I will not be stripping until Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th, and poss Tuesday 31 July.

The list of parts is endless, so please PM me any requests and I will reply with prices and information.

However to comply with Forum rules, here are a number of parts along with prices:

1) Engine. Covered in excess of 190k miles, however is sweet as a peach, starts on the key and sounds lovely. Bargain price of £180 if you come and remove it. I should also mention this doesn't include the 3.0 cams. You could however keep the cambelt kit which has only covered 20k and was fitted by Daz. The £180 option also does not include anciliaries -  the compete engine with Ancils and Cams would be £250.

2) AR35 Auto Gearbox, incl Torque Converter and Flex Plate. Smooth as silk with uprated Metal Sonnax Thrust Washer fitted by Mr Sassanach some time ago. £100

3) Black Leather Memory Seats - very good condition aside of some comensurate wear on drivers bolster. I would be asking £150 for these, but must point out they may be provisionally sold.

4) Elite 17" Alloys. One in Great nick, others all have a few scuffs - therefore £110 for 4. Tyres are OK, but nothing to write home about and have seen plenty of wear.

5) ABS ECU - £40

6) Cat Converters - £40 per side

7) 3.0 Cams - 15 to 20bhp upgrade for 2.5/2.6 - £80

8) Cat Back Exhaust System, Believed to be eternalcar and VGC - £50

9) Headlight washers - £15 each

10) Prodrive rear tailgaite spoiler (Can you even remove these?) £50 if you can.

All prices Ex Postage. Payment by either cash, direct bank transfer or PayPal gift only please :)  Please PM any requests :y

Hi 2w,

From what I recall the rear bumper is a little tatty, I don't think there are any splits etc that I can see though. I could take a pic on Saturday?

The front one looks ok aside of a scuff which looks to go towards the offside underside.

Given they're not in the best nick, you can have the pair for £50, (without HL washers) - but they won't be available until phase2 of the strip in around 3 weeks.

Cheers,
James

Hi Nick,

Many thanks - and I can confirm payment is received.

Let me know which day next week is best for you, and I should be able to arrange for someone to be home. If not, I can leave them locked away somewhere you can get to them.

Cheers,
James
