tom tom one 3rd edition for me spot on includes traffic cams :y

This is the one i'll be getting, does traffic updates too  :y
When it arrives, i'll tell it "no sh*t or out the window you go"  ;)

Tom Tom 910 does all of that, i also get free map downloads, free update on the speed cameras, it also picks up the mobile cameras...it cost me £350, but well worth it......never sent me the wrong way and it tells me the direction to go well in advance etc.

Got to be Tom Tom. My work had a few different ones and only decent one was Tom Tom. All of the others have stopped working and have now been replaced with Tom Toms. On multi-drop routes they go on forever even if used 50 times per day.

Using the voucher prices the Tomtom one starts at £109 dunno if your budget would stretch to that.

Thank you bod. Just purchased a TomTom one Traffic online for £137.00, saving me just over £22.00 using the voucher :y :y

Ok, it's over what i wanted to pay, but you all can't be wrong can you  ::) ::) ;D ;D

Nice one   :y :y

As a matter of interest if you are into this sort thing but there are some voice pack addons, one of the funniest I heard was a Barnsley yob F**ing and Blinding at you through the sat nav to turn right and left and wow, watch out for the F***ing speed camera.   ;D ;D

Most back-seat drivers (hubbies/wives/partners) could do the same job; without the technology!  ;D

Was chattin to my kid brother yesterday regards sat navs, he sometimes does over a 1000 miles a week so relies heavily on his.

If I got his conversation right he has a Garmin model which he bought new that developed a fault.  Sent it back under warranty .

The replacement arrived of which he is/was sure sure it had allready been used.

Playing about with the settings and buttons etc as you do when you get a new gadget he was horrified when a report screen came up telling him how many miles the Sat Nav had covered (more than he was aware that he had covered, hence confirming that it was preused), but even worse the top speed it had recorded.  The thing is he cant remember how he got on to it.  But the scary thing is that is had stored the data data.

Is Big Brother Closing in on us.... I wonder.
