and last note: no one can convince me these events dont have any relation to religion >:(

How would you like to be a MP (Member of Parliament) over here Cem? The powers that be here, try to convince us it's nothing to do with religion!  :-X

The only connection to religion is that they are Muslim, nowhere in the Quoran does it state the subjugation of women is part of the religion. They use religion as an excuse for their barbaric customs, remember they are still in the middle ages. The wearing of the Burka, forced marriages to cousins, women being stoned for commiting adultery not the men ETC ETC. >:( >:(

We let them live here, to continue these practices, along with Africans who carry out removal of female genitalia, makes me sick. >:( >:( >:(

I have said it before, and I'll say it again 'You are welcome to live in OUR country but please conform to our customs, society and speak our language do not bring your customs which offend our moral standards to this land, if you don't like it then Freak Off. :y :y

No, but we left when they asked us to in 1947, can't see that happening if we asked certain people to leave where their behaviour was not compatible with having a cohesive society.  >:( >:( >:(

I'm not in any way racist, if i was i'd shout about it. I am however repulsed at the controlling manner in which these parents murdered their child...CULTURE?... I don't think so. HONOUR? How can such a despicable act be described as honourable?

These so called parents & any like them are underdeveloped primatives living by backwater outdated values & have no place here or in any other civilised countries.   When in Rome... If you don't like rome then you know where the door is, you won't be missed. Integrate or leave. Cake, eat it etc.

I'll be honored :y  but I dont think other MPs will let me have a word :-\ :-\
for many centuries religion is the cheapest-easiest tool that politicians use for manipulating society..and who tells the reverse is lying without doubt :(

I heard one of the investigating policemen being interviewed on the radio, and he said something along the lines of......

" It wasn't a so called honour killing, it was murder...."

He was completely right. By giving crimes like these their own 'tag' the hand wringers imply a sense of legitimacy and all because they are afraid of offending people!!  >:(

Quite so TH - it could never have been anything else but - wherever in the world it happened.

A quite deplorable situation cem. :( :(

Although I can't authenticate the following - if true, it seems to be a sad indictment on the conduct of some people in 21st century Britain.

Worth sticking with to the end.
