Whats a PSA check ?

it is a marker in your blood that signs if you had any prostata problem.  :y

prostate speciic antigene.. its a cancer marker :-\

Cheers  (I think)

Might have to bite the bullet and go and see the quack and be brave for once  :-[
I think cancer has killed off about 3/4 of my elders in the last 30 years  :(

cancer is not a destiny.. avoidable before it comes.. exercise, lots of C vitamin are prooved protectors (even excess dose)

Yes, some scientists calculated off ( with interpolation ) that every people need 4000gramm of C vit per day  :o :o :o seems a bit much though... :-\
Jeez, I don't even eat that much cow in a day :o

I know what your saying cem  :)

With the amount of sh*t  i've been through over the last 5 years or so, i've totally let myself go and have turned from a pretty fit and healthy bloke into a total unfit fat basteward  :-[

Trouble is, doctors tend to stick needles in you and i'm allergic to pain (unless I can give it back)  ;D

At least i've turned into a anti smoking nazi and haven't had one for a few years now  ;)

As for the liver, I drink plenty of guiness for the vitimain content so I should be ok on that front  ;D

C vitamin and oxygen kills cancer cells .. (and anti oxidants which is found inside red fruits at high amounts)..   at least it can stop/slow its development at early stages..

thats a very good news.. :y

and for the liver,  saturated fat diets or high alcohol will show on blood tests with elevated liver enzym levels.. and the most  dangerous point is when they start to drop below normal.. liver sicknesses can not be determined easily and need complex tests.. many doctors/hospitals can easily fail to detect..

but from my family experience  water collected inside peritonial area is the most visible sign.. (also heart failures can cause it)

it happens to use ladies tooo

god i have slowly noticed the weight appearing and need to do something about it before i cant.

it takes longer these days ( i know im not old lol past 30) but its not as easy as it was when i was 21) but i am determind to get toned and fit.

today is day one. went to the gym this morning nice run followed by some stretches. tonight took the hounds out used to run daily with them but they are also a tad un fit need to break them in gently.

i do have the added advantage that my motabolisum is quite fast i tend to eat when i want when i want, drip feed eat little and offten. cant do big meals

Gym kit is packed for tomorrow already, trying to decide whether to do get brave and do some weights or a rope work out  :-\ :-\ :-\

My level of fitness has always been low so the down-slide to short of breath, aching cripple was a very short journey.   ::) ::)

At the age of 50 I have just decided that I need to go on longer walks so I have parked the car an extra ten feet up my drive.  :y ;D ;D
Well, it's a start.  :y

In the last 18 months I've put on weight, where I've been spending too much time working and not enough fitness training. I recently started getting out on my bike a bit more and using my bike turbo trainer as I always feel much better when I'm fit and my resting heart rate goes right down to about 40-42bpm.

Cycling has always been my sport as I've always really enjoyed it. when I belonged to cycling club then I used to do 50 / 60 miles on a Sunday morning and 40 to 60 miles training a week. I've never been able to do long distance running as it cripples my muscles and joints, long brisk walks are fine.

Since my 20's my right knee has always been weaker than my left and as I've got older it has got more painful especially in cold damp weather and is starting to click. Getting fit by cycling actually reduces the pain, where stronger muscles help support its weakness.

A couple of tips I have practised for the past 50 years or so which seem to have helped: always run up stairs if possible, avoid using elevators or moving walkways, always walk briskly to your destination.....Oh I almost forgot, play golf 3 times a week!  ;D ;D ;D :y :y :y

Blimey! 41? I had just quit being on the doors then! lol
ok now then believe it or not have never eaten vegetables in my life!! hate the taste! apart from peas and potatoes!! now i knew early on in spite of being extremely fit through weightlifting training etc that the no veg diet would do me no good later on in life, so i started taking multivitamins at age 25, just one a day gives me all the minerals/vitamins etc i need, currently just over 55 :-X walk everywhere its possible to here, ride the raptor for hours on end with me mates all over the campo here, mostly extreme trails(extremely hard work) White bread is my big fall down i love it, I can still put in 23hour days which happen about once a month, certainly 18hour days are pretty regular.,only drink for social pleasure,(3 times a week average) or when i have a big problem with a motor in the workshop lol as it relaxes me, still smoke 20 a day, still make love to the mrs at least twice a week, everyone keeps telling me to grow up and act my age(no chance) regularly lift gearboxes in cars on me own,
so what im saying mate is just enjoy life! make afew small adjustments if need be they will pay off later on,but do not worry about it! I still go out for a kickabout with the lads but less so now than before, still play golf irregularly, still seem to heal injuries pretty quick, so must be in quite good shape,
personally i reckon stress/worry is the biggest killer, as i have plenty of that with the situation out here i just dont let it get to me!! lol
well thats enough waffle from me go out and do somehting that aint boring plenty out there!! :y

i do a nice long walk every morning to the cafe, then its a 100 yrd sprint after breakfast to the pub followed by a large glass of yeast hops and barley supplement to clean out the toxins. come 11pits usually a large pita bread with salad and lamb with a little light sauce on it for flavour. Then usually colon hydrotherapy usually around the 5am slot to complete the cycle. :y
