Matrix
« on: 18 September 2012, 17:55:10 »

The wife is complaining that her Omega is not blowing hot air out, so if my memory serves me well I need to flush the Matrix out as the first port of call?

She is not home yet so I cannot look under the bonnet to get the layout,  so can anyone  point me in the right dirrection for finding the matrix , as I'll be taking the car up the in-laws who have no internet connection?

Any other tips for solving no hot air  will be greatly appreciated!

The two 1" pipes going thru the bulkhead connect to the heater matrix.

Might be the heater control (air operated on FL )

Yep !  Imagine the hardest possible place to find, the darkest dingiest hole in the back and beyond and that's where it sits.

Sits just to the left of the drivers ankles, behind the fascia.

There is a "How to" on here if you need to remove it...Hopefully you won't need to.

Other than that, a flush with a hose MAY do the trick via the pipes that run through the bulkhead.

Others with more knowledge than me will be along shortly I'm sure !

Firstly check that both arms that drive the servo motors are still connected (one either side)

Then check that pipes from bulkhead going to matrix are both hot,
Flushing
