Filler plug

Hi guys
Changing auto box oil have removed pan now but filler plug will not give tried heat and mole grips after socket started to slip what would you suggest best method 2 come to mind,  :(

chisel it off, then replace, same as normal sump plug.

I actually swapped my old one for the newer torx style with washer rather than copper washer crushing type.

Do you mean hitting the corner to try and turn nut or lop it right off

hitting corner to spin it round...always possible the thread mounting will come loose (even when undoing normally)  as mine did, and I needed a nut braizing in instead

Thanks Jimbob  been using chisel its loose now thought of welding but only as a last resort, looks like a new plug when oil replaced :y

I have the same problem sump now off the car and there is no way this bugger is going to move I have tried sockets grips and stiltsons and everything just slips.... is drilling out an option ...or what do you guys recommned.???????
